Pain perdu
Literally translated as “lost bread.” A real French classic. French toast is perfect for a different breakfast or if you feel like eating something sweet and delicious during the day.
Before choosing this recipe for your next lesson, check below to ensure you have all the kitchenware and ingredients you need. You must have everything for your lesson. If don’t have everything, don’t worry and choose another easy French recipe.
You will need to have for your lesson:

Kitchenware
- 1 salad bowl
- 1 whip or 1 fork
- 1 oven or 1 pan
- 1 oven plate (if you will use the oven)
- 1 kitchen brush (optional)

Ingredients
For 2 persons:
- 12 cl of milk
- 2 eggs
- 35 g of sugar
- 4 slices of bread of your choice (A bread a little hard who has few days, is ok as well). That’s why we call this recipe “Lost bread” 😉
- cinnamon (optional)
